Interior Beautification & Rebranding of Public Spaces
PMBA Architects was selected by McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital for the design of the Revitalization Project at the Hospital, the first primary phase of a $100M broad campus redevelopment strategy which includes a complete overhaul and beautification of the hospital. The project includes new entrance pavilions and canopies at both the main and visitor entries into the hospital. A new public concourse connects the two entrance pavilions to improve the patient and visitor experience and reduce traffic in off-staging areas.
As part of the renovation, the main hospital laboratory is relocated to a new location in the lower level of the hospital. The outpatient laboratory is also relocated to an area adjacent to the new main entrance into the hospital. New administration and medical staff suites are provided, in addition to the relocation of Cardiac Rehab, Registration, Waiting Areas, and Gift Shop. The kitchen and dining areas are relocated from the basement to the main level to make access to dining amenities more convenient to patients and visitors. A new coffee bar is also provided adjacent to the new entry pavilions.
A complete rebranding and visual beautification are provided throughout the common areas of the hospital, bringing uniformity to the environment and promoting a consistent brand throughout the hospital.
